The main topic of the project "Oral health education program for visually impaired children" is the preparation and implementation of a pilot education program on proper oral hygiene for children with visual impairment.

The problem of oral hygiene in children with disabilities is a challenge not only for them, but also for their parents and guardians. The teaching plan we have created will allow children to acquire the necessary brushing skills and increase the competences of parents, guardians and teachers of blind children related to proper oral hygiene.
The following was planned under the project
The goal of the project is to increase sensitivity of the society to the needs of visually impaired children. The results of the project and the educational materials produced will be made available on the website.
Workshops on methodology of work with blind children conducted by experts in the field of typhlopedagogy, in which project partners from the Visegrad Group (Poland, Slovakia, Hungary) participated.
Preparation of educational materials to conduct the educational campaign.
Conducting the educational campaign in schools for children with visual impairments, simultaneously in each partner country.
The educational campaign will allow 75 visually impaired children aged 6-15 (from Poland, Slovakia and Hungary) to learn how to brush their teeth properly and to train 45 teachers, parents and guardians. The materials produced as part of the project will be given to the schools where the educational campaigns will be held, which will allow the activities to be introduced into the permanent didactic program.
