Today, the team from Lublin had the great pleasure of organizing the first, long-awaited educational event, at the invitation of our partner — the Prof. Zofia Sękowska Special School-Educational Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (SOSW) in Lublin.

The event was preceded by a Team meeting and detailed planning in accordance with the guidelines established at last year’s meeting and consulted online.

The first part of the campaign, conducted among children, was directed at teaching them about oral hygiene and promoting proper diet and regular check-ups at the dentist’s office. The children listened with interest to the adventures of Crocky the Crocodile and eagerly practiced tooth-brushing techniques on models. The meeting ended with the announcement of future visits and distribution of gifts.

During the second part, conducted among teachers and parents, the participants, among others, received basic information on maintaining children’s oral health. The recommended dosages of fluoride in toothpastes for children of different ages were also discussed, and the principles of proper oral hygiene were presented in detail, including additional hygienic tools, which was then demonstrated and practiced on models. The meeting ended with distribution of gifts.
